About us
In the Methodist denomination of Christianity, churches in one particular area are in a group together known as a 'circuit.' We work together sharing our resources and supporting each other on our life journeys as individuals and as church communities.
Circuits are grouped into Districts around the country. We are part of the Newcastle- upon-Tyne District. Districts are then grouped into the national 'Connexion' covering the whole United Kingdom. The word ‘Connexion’ is derived from ‘Connect’ and emphasises mutual co-operation on an equal basis.
This website is the home of the Circuit that covers the west side of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England, with its reach stretching as far north as Scots Gap in Northumberland. Our administrator can be contacted by emailing newcastle.west.methodist@gmail.com
